Bold City Church is a growing church in Burleson, Texas, made up of real people navigating real life and learning to follow Jesus together. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through the doors.
Here are a few things you may want to know before your first Sunday.
What should I expect at Bold City Church?
Expect a welcoming, relaxed environment where you can come as you are.
Our Sunday services include worship, prayer, biblical teaching, and time together as a church family. We want Sundays to help you encounter God, understand Scripture, and leave with something you can actually carry into your week.
If it’s your first time, no one is going to make you stand up, introduce yourself, or do anything that puts you on the spot.
Come in, find a seat, and take it all in.
What should I wear?
Whatever you’re comfortable wearing.
You’ll see people in jeans, dresses, T-shirts, button-downs, sneakers, and everything in between. Bold City is casual, and there is no dress code.
You do not need “church clothes” to come to church.
How long is Sunday service?
Our Sunday service is typically about an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and thirty minutes.
We start at 9:30 AM on Sundays. We recommend arriving about 15 minutes early to grab a cup of coffee and get settled.
Where do my kids go?
We want families to feel comfortable and confident bringing their kids to Bold City.
When you arrive, our team can help you find the kids check-in area and get your children where they need to go. Our children’s ministry currently serves potty-trained kids to age 10. The children's ministry provides an age-appropriate environment where kids can have fun, build relationships, and learn about Jesus in a way they can understand.
We welcome kids in service and have seating with play rugs for our littles who need some space to wiggle. We aren't afraid of a little noise. We want you and your children to spend Sunday mornings with us.
If it’s your first Sunday, arriving fifteen minutes early will give you time to get everyone checked in without feeling rushed.
What is worship Like?
Worship at Bold City is contemporary, passionate, and centered on Jesus.
Some people raise their hands. Some people sing loudly. Some people stand quietly and take it all in.
There is no pressure to worship a certain way.
Our desire is to create space for people to genuinely encounter God and to honor Him with our worship.
Where does Bold City meet?
Bold City Church meets at The BRiCk in Burleson, Texas. Our kids get to enjoy the Rec Center's kid zone and outside area and worship takes place in the gym.
We are a local Burleson church serving families throughout Burleson, South Fort Worth, Joshua, Crowley, and the surrounding area.
