Pastor Chad Swaringen

Chad Swaringen is passionate about helping you live in bold faith and seeing God do great things in and through your life. With over 20 years of ministry experience and a strong theological foundation—holding an Masters of Divinity from Nelson University, a B.A. from Criswell College, and a Diploma of Theology from Christ for The Nations—Chad has served in various roles across children’s, youth, and adult ministry. Chad Swaringen serves as Lead Pastor of Bold City Church. His relatable, faith-filled teaching encourages others to trust God deeply and walk in the unshakable hope of Christ. His life verse, John 10:27, reflects his heart to lead people to hear and follow the voice of the Good Shepherd.

Magan Swaringen

Magan Swaringen has served in ministry alongside Chad for many years in youth ministry, children's ministry, and a variety of church leadership roles. Her heart is to serve the local church well and be a beacon of the hope of Christ in every season. She holds a Master of Practical Theology from Nelson University, a Bachelor of Arts from Dallas Baptist University, and a Diploma in Practical Ministry from Christ For The Nations Institute. Magan is passionate about helping people take their next step with Jesus and creating environments where individuals and families can encounter God's love and truth.

They treasure time with their family and are grateful to be raising their four children, Chad II, Isabella, Anastasia, and Judah. Whether leading in ministry, cheering from the sidelines of a soccer game, gathering around the table, or serving their community, they believe following Jesus is lived out not only on Sundays but in the everyday moments of life.</span>
